La Boca is a very poor neighborhood; many buildings are barely standing. What is lacking in quality is made up for in creativity; La Boca is a must see tourist sight. People in Buenos Aires call themselves Porteros, a name lifted from the poor folks that lived in La Boca whose occupations revolved around the shipping port.

ReplyDeleteafter 6 and a half month on the road i arrived at my final destination USHUAIA . 32933km with my bike, 13 countries, 15 border crossings, a few km by bus and a few more by plane were needed to arrive down here.
not quite the way i expected, would have rather been here with my motorcycle, but traveling is always good for surprises.
i wish you al a quiet christmas time and hopefully see one or the other around !
