OMG, the desert never ended!! Miles upon miles of nothingness coupled with the burning sun and hot air sapped all my energy. My viewing options were extremely limited, saguro cactus, dirt, mountains and the back of Montgomerys head. I was happy for this rest stop....OMG, Marie has no juice. I thought she would last at least an hour at a time,... but nooo another dirt nap at a Pemex gas station. In her defense the road was long long long. I kept myself busy by dodging insect to helmet collisions and sun baked road-kill.
